Situated op de Drakensberg escarpment in Mpumalanga is Gods Window.
Kaart Panorama Route
De Panoramaroute loopt - kijkend van zuid naar noord -van Sabie tot de Erasmus-pas waar de Blydepoort begint.
Plotseling stopt het hooggebergte / hoog plateau van 1700 meter.
Bij de rand Sabie - Graskop - Erasmuspas houdt het plateau, dat aan de rand wordt gevormd door de Drakensbergen, ineens op.

Bezienswaardigheden op de panoramaroute
De panoramaroute is een route die je langs verschillende bezienswaardigheden leidt
zoals de Blyde River Canyon, Gods Window, The Three Rondavels, The Pinnacle, Bourkes Luck Potholes en
Pilgrims Rest.
Daarnaast kom je langs leuke dorpjes zoals Graskop. Een niet te missen stop in Graskop is: Harrie’s Pancake, waar heerlijke pannenkoeken worden geserveerd.
Vlakbij Graskop ligt het plaatsje: Pilgrims Rest: een oude goudmijnstad.
Hier waan je jezelf in de tijd dat er rondom Pilgrims Rest veel goud werd gevonden.
Blyde River Canyon Panoramaroute
Hoogtepunt van de route is de Blyde River Canyon: een van de langste kloven ter wereld, met spectaculaire geologische vormen en de mooiste panorama’s van het land.

Best time to visit Kruger National Park
This is Kruger Park's autumn period and the vegetation starts changing from thick lush green bush to a slightly sparser browning bush. The temperatures start cooling down at night but daytime is still warm. Scattered thunder showers can be experienced in the afternoons.

May to June:
Cold temperatures are experienced at night and at dawn during our winter months. The vegetation becomes totally brown and trees start losing leaves. Visibility during game drives is enhanced due to sparser vegetation.
